GE Energy sign with Qatar
GE Energy has signed a multi-million dollar, 20-year Contractual Service Agreement (CSA) with Qatar Electricity and Water Company covering three GE Frame 9FA gas turbine-generators at the Ras Abu Fontas B-2 power plant and desalination project in Qatar.
Roper Pumps deal boost for OEL
Energy industry specialist, Osborne Engineering Ltd. (OEL), has become sole European authorised repair centre and a distributor for US based pump manufacturer, Roper Pump Company.
The deal will see the OEL subsidiary ¿ Turbo Power Services (TPS) ¿ repair, upgrade and supply Roper units to hundreds of customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Recently installed specialist rigs allow the testing of GE Frame 3-9 and Westinghouse fuel nozzles and flow dividers and pumps in the same ranges and even bigger test rigs are in the pipeline.
Petrorabigh Project - Saudi Arabia
SPIG has been awarded by PETRORABIGH the 210.000 m3/h Water Flow, FRP Cooling Tower for a Petrochemical Complex in Saudi Arabia. The project which completion is foreseen by 2007, is the largest ever realised in the world.
